Bible Journaling FREE Printable

If you have been following along with my Verse-A-Day Bible Journaling Challenge, then you know that today’s verse is Hebrews 10:19-23.

When I started working on this verse, I really wanted to do some hand lettering in my Bible, but I didn’t really know what I wanted.  So I decided to look at some fonts on my computer and put together some lettering from it.  After doing so I decided instead of copying the lettering into my Bible that I would print it on vellum and glue it into my Bible instead.  I don’t have any clear sticker paper on hand, but the vellum works pretty much the same way.

August Bible Journaling-4

I thought I would share this design with you so that you can use it to print and include in your Bible as well.  You can download your FREE copy here.  Please remember all file downloads and printables are free FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY.  No commercial use or redistribution is permitted.  This means that you can use the files to make things for yourself or as gifts but you are NOT permitted to sell any items you create with the files.  You also may not sell or share the files themselves.

If you use my printable, I would love to see it!!  Or if you Bible journal I would love to see it too.  Use #BibleJournalingwithSheena in Instagram or leave me a comment below.

Thursday To Do #5

I am on a mission to have a plan for every room in my house.  Now I know I want be able to move through all the rooms as quickly as I can plan them, but I am going to get them all planned.

Thursday To Do

Today I am going to start my planning for the children’s bedrooms.  Taylor’s room probably needs the least amount of work and will be the quickest to finish.

Here is a snapshot from looking into her bedroom from the hall.

Thursday To Do #5

Here is what all needs to be done to her room:

  • Paint Walls
  • Paint Trim
  • Lower Pegboard
  • Make a Curtain to Match her Bedspread
  • Purchase & Hang Curtain Rod
  • Refinish Bed and Dresser
  • Refinish Desk
  • Hang Dry Erase Board
  • Sort Basket of Stuff

I am not completely sure if I am going to refinish her bed and dresser or not because she is getting some new furniture, but I am not completely sure when that will be.  Also even when she gets new furniture we will still keep this furniture since it was mine and I passed it down to her.

Subject Stickers for Your Planner ~ Free Stickers

Getting ready for back to school can be quiet a task for a teacher!!  This year I decided to change my planner to a Happy Planner and I picked up the teacher edition at Hobby Lobby.  I’ll share more about my planner later on.  Today I want to share with you some subject stickers I made for my planner, and you can get yours for FREE!!

I totally forgot to take a picture of the stickers before I started using them.  I was so busy getting ready for back to school I wasn’t really thinking about blogging that day or that I wanted to share these super cute stickers with you.  I haven’t used all of them up yet though so I can still share a picture of my half used sheet of stickers.

Subject Stickers-1

I wanted my stickers to be a different color for each subject and I wanted bright bold colors to go along with the colors in my planner!!  I created flags shapes for all of the stickers.  I was only able to create six columns of stickers and I needed seven different colors so I decided to alternate with blank stickers except for the last sticker says notes.  This gives you extra stickers that match, but you can write your own wording on them.

Then I took the stickers and used them on my weekly pages in my planner across the top.  Then I don’t have to write the subjects out each week.  I have used some of my extra blank ones for things we do weekly and put them in the note column for the day we will do it.  Such as library, we go to the library every Wednesday so I have a sticker on Wednesday of each week under the notes that says library.

Subject Stickers-5Subject Stickers-4

You can get your FREE copy of the stickers HERE.  These stickers are made for a studio and I am not sure about converting it to work with a cricut. If you do not have a silhouette, but would still like the stickers let me know and I’ll create them in a PDF.

Welcome to YouTube

So I did a thing, I decided to start sharing about Bible Journaling on YouTube!!  I am really excited about it and looking forward to sharing a weekly Bible Journaling video.

This week on YouTube I am doing a walk through of my ESV single column journaling Bible.  I am showing you so of my favorite pages I have created in this Bible.  It includes my permission page, my content page, pages with vellum, pages with paint, pages with watercolor, pages with colored pencils and more.  I hope you will check it out!!

School Room Tour

I am SO excited to be sharing our school room/dining room tour with you today!!  Now yes this is also our dining room and we do eat dinner in this room, but we eat breakfast and lunch in the kitchen.  This room is mostly used for school and I must say I LOVE it!! I could just sit in this room all day long.

When we first started out we had a lot of work to do to this room.  You can see that full list here.  But as you can tell we ended up going with a totally different paint color than we originally looked at that day.  Last week I was actually talking about purchasing a rug for Bradley’s area, but I decided to wait because I am about to get rid of a piece of furniture in his room and when I do I am going to use the rug that is under it for his area.  So I do still have two minor changes to make to this room, but there is no telling how long it will be before I do those things:

  1. Purchase Three New Outlet Covers (I don’t love these outlet covers and they are pricy)
  2. Replace Light Fixture (I will probably replace a lot of light fixtures all at once)

So on to the tour!

This is the widest angle I can get to show as much of the room as possible, but I feel like it gives you a good feel for the room.  We do have a lot of natural light coming in which I absolutely love!!

School Room Tour-7

On the big wall in our school room is where I have all our dry erase boards and a lot of our posters.  These posters include Math topics, History and Bible topics and Language Arts topic.  Each year I add to these posters and while I thought about taking some of them down the truth is we refer to them often and before long Bradley will be learning some of this stuff.

School Room Tour-2

Also on this wall and the wall that backs up to our hall is Bradley’s corner and posters.  I try to keep all of his books and supplies we are using for that week all on this bookcase.  It really makes completing school work much easier when I don’t have to look for stuff.

School Room Tour-4

Here is a close up of his bookcase.  I got the baskets on the top that hold the markers at Dollar Tree, the black and white boxes are from Hobby Lobby and the mesh baskets are from Target.  I got the Paw Patrol lap desk from Kohl’s from their Back to School goodies!!  I did receive this product for free.  Also the red basket on the floor next to the bookcase full of books came from Dollar Tree.

School Room Tour-5

At the other end of our big wall is a bookcase Adam built about five years ago.  This bookcase has been used for so many different purposes.  First it was in the girls’ room, then Alyssa’s room, then the boys’ room and now the school room!!  It holds a lot of Bradley’s books that are not pulled for this week.  One shelf hold some of my supplies since I don’t have a desk.  On top of it I have two bins (puzzles and sensory bin), my laminator, paper binder and microscope.

School Room Tour-1

On the opposite wall is our cube shelving.  This is where I store all the big kids’ curriculum that is not an ebook.  Each of them have a basket that sits on top of the shelving which holds all their binders, notebooks, Bibles, books, kindles and pencil pouches.  During school they just grab the baskets and sit them on the table so they can easily access everything.  I picked these baskets up from Dollar Tree.  Also you can see the pencil holder on the end.  It is 4 little baskets from the dollar aisle at Target.  I used hot glue to hold them together and filled them with pencils, pens, markers, color pencils and crayons so the big kids can easily access whatever they need without getting up.  I installed a hook on the end of this short wall for our library bag.  Under our library bag is a trash can I picked up from Wal-Mart and a basket from Dollar Tree for our literature books.

School Room Tour-6

I used my silhouette to create the wording “Train up a child in the way he should go Proverbs 22:6” for above the window.  I will say decals is not my favorite thing to create, but I love the way this turned out.  Hopefully with a few more projects the transfer tape and I will get along better.  So if you have any tips about transfer tape let me know!!  Also you can see my valance I made for the window.  I used some fabric I had on hand from when Bradley was in kindermusik.  It is the alphabet and I thought just prefect for the school room.

School Room Tour-3

If you have any questions about anything you see just let me know.  As you can see I like to shop at Dollar Tree and the Dollar Aisle at Target for baskets!!
